After calling us in order to rent a stand in the Martyrs’ Square which is literally the heart of Beirut, we decided to accept the deal because it was an amazing opportunity to be able to get our first exposure with people besides being everywhere on social media! And of course, that experience was one of a kind! we got assured that Amale’s business is about people’s business. Having said that, each time people were coming to our stand and trying our products (cookies, apple cinnamon cakes, carrot cakes, chocolate brownies, gluten free chocolate coconut macaroons, ginger bread cookies and avocado chocolate truffles), long conversations were running between the customers and Amale! And that was like: “Oh my God!!! I love your cookies!! the cakes are so moist and fluffy! so low in sugar!! I really love it!!”On and on and on! in addition to asking us if we are located anywhere close or so! Having said that, people were admiring and pushing us forward to keep doing what we are doing!

Last but not least, Christmas experience was one of kind, it opened for Amale’s a lot of future promising opportunities, gave us high hopes, good expectations and appreciations!

3 years ago, I decided to prepare a satisfying guilt free dessert that doesn’t spike my children’s insulin level once they go on their first sweet bite and doesn’t impact my mum’s diabetes disease! Having said that, I took the decision to prepare some cookies, that are low in calories, mouth watering, crunchy from the outside and chewy from the inside. You can say none traditional cookies. The first idea that came into my mind was to make orange vegan cookies, since I personally love the orange taste, and prefer not to eat something that includes milk, egg, butter etc… So my son came from work and was surprised with the amazing orange smell dominating all our house surrounding. He tasted the orange cookies and all of sudden shouted: THAT’S IT! THIS IS THE BUSINESS THAT WE’RE GOING TO START! Well, it took him 3 years to convince me;Amale, and it worked, Thank you Oliver…. And the rest is history!
